The Winthrop Alumnae Association has a two-fold relationship, to the college itself and to the large body of alumnae. The program of activities is planned so as to advance the interests of both the college and the alumnae. The Alumnae Association as a whole provides the David Bancroft Johnson Memorial Loan Scholarship Fund while many of the various individual chapters of Winthrop Daugh- ters support other scholarships.
