FOR THE RECORDS (Last Will And Testament) It is the year nineteen hundred s eventy- s even. I have just left the Clerk of Court ' s office, which is lo- cated in our county Court House. Knowing my interest in the work of a Clerk of Court, Mr. Smith allowed me to browse through the pages of his record book for wills . How surprised I was to find a full page containing the Last Will and Testament of the Senior- Class of 1958, my graduating class. What 1 read there was of such intense interest to me that I am recording the informa- tion for you, the readers of their annual. We, the Senior Class of 1958, city of Winterville, county ox Pitt, and state of North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory, and about to pass out of existence, do make, publish and declare this to be our Last Will and Testament. ARTICLE I To the editor-in-chief of our school, Mr. Clark, our beloved prin- cipal, we leave with great respect for his work and leadership in mak- ing our school one which we ' re proud to call our Alma Mater. ARTICLE II To the encyclopedias, our teach- ers, we leave our most sincere thanks for their patience, kindness, under- standing and guidance. ARTICLE III To the textbooks , the Juniors, we leave our dignified position with much regret but with the knowledge that they will uphold the dignity the classes before them have held.
