DEDICATION WTien one hears the word teacher, one thinks of a classroom and a blackboard. A per son never thinks of his mother or father as a teacher, however. Though mothers and f a th e r s never seem to be considered teachers, they are actually the most important teachers one ever has. They teach their children the first things they ever learn and the things about which life is based. We learn practical things from our parents more than from any other source. Parents are indeed teachers; so are our friends and fellow students. It is to teachers in this sense of the word that we gratefully dedicate this, the 1958 Searchlight. 6
