The Student Advisory Council promotes communi- cation between the students and the school adminis- tration. Their major activities include homecoming, in- school dances, school improvements, scholastic achievement banquet, school assemblies, and inter- changing of students from other schools for better school relations . The Steering Committee met regularly with Mr. Edge to discuss various school policies. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Zeidler served as advisors once again this year. The president was Ron Johnson, vice president Pam Parsons, secretary-treasurer was Susan Edmonston. Thespians Score Hit With Meet Me In St. Louis Mr. Pete Caleodis, advisorfdirector .,L.r Thespian Troupe 311336, affiliated with the Interna- tional Thespian Society, was initiated for high school stu- dents who wanted to pursue dramatic interests. Ably led by Linda Wehr as president: Pam Parsons, vice presidentg Debbie Schubert, secretary, Karen Doak, treasurer: and Nancy Cunningham , scribe, it was a very successful year. The one-act play festival was held November 19 and 20, and featured The Marvelous Playbil1, Balcony Scene, High Window, and Final Dress Rehearsal. The three act play was presented April 29 and 30 when the Thespians performed MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. Another Highlight of the year was the annual dinner at which the following awards were given: Most improved actresses, Sue Edmonston and Jeanette Johnston: most improved actors, Barry Thompson and Clyde Osterholtzg best supporting actresses, Nancy Cunningham and Jeanette Johnstong best supporting actor, Frank Douglas: best actress. Linda Wehr: best actor, Dave Bell: best Thespian. Linda Wehr. Special awards were presented to Nancy Cun- ningham, Sue Edmonston, Pam Parsons, and Linda Wehr for their service to the organization.
