Carol and Max SENIOR FORMAL On the evening of December second, nineteen hundred and sixty, students from Wintersville High School were eagerly making preparations for the Senior For- mal which was to be held that night. Robert Moffatt, our doorman, ushered the girls into the school while their escorts parked their cars. Then the couples en- tered the beautifully decorated auditorium which was softly lighted in colors of red and white. As the music of Don Paynels orchestra lilled the large room, Carole Johnson and Max Calland, as queen and king, circled the iceberg in the center of the floor which depicted the theme, Ice Palace. Too soon, the dance was over, and the couples wearily went home. 5 Raw 1: M. Calland, King, C. Johnson, Queen. Row 2: R. Jones, R. Milam, L. Gruber, M. Kuziak, D. Dornbush, J. Jenkins.
