BAND FURMAL The band's 'gFrost Frolicv was held December seventeenth, ninteen hundred and sixty, in the school's gymnasium. Snowmen sat on each side of the stage guarding the blue and white crepe paper streamers which s u r r o u n d e d Harry Greenls orchestra. The twenty-foot Christ- mas tree lent a soft glow to the dance floor as Kay Brookover, last year's queen, crowned Janyce Conn and Dwight Sulli- van. The king and queen were chosen by the members of the band. As the last strains of music drifted through the frosty winter night, the couples were hesitant to leave.

Sayonara, Seniorsf' This sign was on the wall of the auditorium May thirteenth, nineteen hundred and sixty. The occasion-1960 Junior Senior Prom. Gay colors of red, green, yellow, and black carried out the Japanese motif while hand-drawn Japanese murals cov- ered the Walls. Everyone began to wonder- Who will be our king and queen? Linda Ketcham and Richard Myers were soon circling the floor during the coronation dance. As the last strains of music by Harry Green's orchestra drifted through the starry night, we started for home, each girl clutching chopsticks, crepe paper, and a dance program in her hand. 72 i
