i ' 'me' wan We the senior class of 1957, being of sound mind and bow hereby bequeath the follow- ing in our last will and testament. To the faculty we leave our deepest gratitude and thanks for the lmderstanding and patient help they have given us in coping with our many problems. To the juniors we leave the famed and everlasting lower hall. May they have as much fun and excitement as we have had. To the sophomores we leave that exhilirating feeling of being upperclassmen. To the freshmen we leave the hope that their remaining high school years will be as much fun for them as ours have been. To the incoming freshmen, formerly known as the 8th graders, we leave them aJ.l the confidence we have attained in the last four years so that their first year will not prove to be a difficult one. May all your problems be small ones. JERRY BEEM leaves his trick knee to Phil Ridout. Something else to complain about, Phil. VI EVE KENT leaves her arguing ways in Mr. Pace's class to larry Watts. You have to give him a rough time, Larry. JOHN BU'1'1'ERF1E1D, GERALD CAMERON, JIM POLAND and STEVE GOOD leave all their good times to Jim Lemon, P. J. Cunningham, Robert Newton, and John Nair. KAYE KERR leaves her Quiet wave to Patty Peterson. You can at least try, Patty. ED CALLISON, FRED GIBSON, and CLIFF READ leave their coke times at Miller's to Bob Bass, Dick Gibson, and Russel Utsler. HARRIET KILPATRICK as a student teacher leaves her friendly relationship with the kin- dergarten children to Jill Beverlin. ROBERT CASPE. leaves his farm problem discussions in economics to Bill Mitchell. Don't give Mrs. Rumel too much trouble, Bill. PHRANA LECOCQ leaves a golden note to the soprano section in Mixed Chorus. Maybe you won't go flat now, sopranos. CALVIN CLARK leaves his mischievous ideas to Doug Good. Hope you don't get into too much trouble, Doug. MARILYN BQINELL -and RUBY PATTERSON leave their merchandising jobs at the dime stores to any underclassmen who have enough will power to lay off the candy. DWIGHT CRESAP leaves his fabulous run at the Valley game to Kenny Collins. Better start training now, Kenny, so you will have enough wind. SHERRY MILES and RONNIE WIGGINS leave their spot :Ln the hall to Marla Jackson and Dennis Lamport. KENNETH DAVIS leaves and decides he'll take his new car with him, although we'll prob- ably see it around school quite a bit next year. BEVFF-I-I BF-ITTAIN, IELA PALMER, and SHIRLEY MORRIS leave their trips to town every noon to Jo Ann See, Laura Allen, and Sandy Wiggins. NEAL DAY leaves his athletic ability to all the football boys. It will take a lot of work to fill his shoes. GLENN MAPES leaves his bass voice to Kenny Cortner. NANCY AGNEII leaves her first seat in the auditorium to Gary Allen. You have to be good when you sit up there. Don't you, Nancy? BOB LYON leaves his tough Job as editor of the Husky to anyone who can crack the whip well enough. ANN ALEXANDER and BEVERLY MORBISSEY leave their cage managers' jobs to two girls with alarm clocks. You're tardy after 7:30 , girls. JERRY and JOY KINNEY leave together to live happily ever after. ' JUDY BASS leaves her witty remarks to-no, on second thought, she's decided to take them with her. RICHARD HcCONNELEE leaves in his wreck--oh, oh, I mean Ford. DEANNA BINDEL wills her scholastic ability to Gene Farlow. Not that he needs it. NICK McNAMARA leaves his great heroic deed gf gaving dear 015 W.H.S. from bm-ning to. the ground to anyone who has the opportunity . ANN BOYD leaves her hook shot to Dick Cooper, It won't work in pool, Dick. The senior class was going to leave MERLE MBCER to the junior class to help them with their studies next year, but they decided to take him with them so he can help them with their future problems. LA DONNA BRUHN leaves her bright, blue eyes to Larry Bristow. Black isn't too becoming on you, Larry. DWITE SILLIMAN leaves his hat collection to Hr. Penrod. Try the Ivy league model, Mr. PQn1'ode

VIRGIL WILSON is now with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra. He is official page turner for the cornet section. if RONNIE WIGGINS and ROBIN LETZ are directors of the WFor Realn Wig Compggy. Their biggest customer is DON EYERLY. STANLEY FITZGERALD is president of the Fitzgerald Technological Institute. Some of his colleagues are EUNICE WAKEFIELD, BEVERLY BRITTAIN, and KEITH JORGENSEN. Just what the Institute was set up for, is yet to be determined. Newest sensation on Broadway this season is LARRY Lamb. we always knew him as a HAM. Weese's Geese Farm owned by EVELYN WEESE and operated by SONDRA HURST is the most prosperous farm of its kind. It seems they have come up with a four-legged goose for people who love drumsticks. JUDY BASS and VIEVE KENT retired the day after graduation. It seems, as cheer- leaders, they used all their excess energy their last two years providing the spark of victory for W.H.S. teams. PHRANA LECOCQ is now president of the Coca-Smola Bottling Company, ANN CUNN. INGHAM is manager of the main office located in Peru, Iowa. Professor GARY JONES, Ph.d, has just completed the 30th volume in his series of books on 'The Life of the Porcupine.U The book was published by Morris, Meyer, and Morris. SHIRLEY MORRIS is president, JIM MORRIS is Vice-president, and BILL MEYER is janitor. ROBERT CASPER is a congressman from the 78th district in Hawaii. He made front page news this year with his filibuster which lasted for 8 days and 7 nights. JIM VLIEGER is a representative from the 79th district. B TTY CONRAD is still at South wardgit is amazing how difficult it is to leave there once you're in. PATTY DUFF has the distinction of being the only one in the class of 1957 that is a movie star. KENNETH SNIDER is in charge of all her fan clubs. ROBERT SHOESMITH and JIM SHOEMAKER have gone into business for themselves. They operate a shoe shop, naturally. BOB HORN is their top salesman. ALVIN McCAULEY, special agent working for the U. S. Treasury Dept., has just completed his latest assignment--the investigatio of the Nichol1's Manufacturing Company, owned-and operated by LARRY NIC!-IOLL. The company was suspected of coining counterfeit nickels, but only the name was misleading. One of East Peru's most thriving businesses is Joyce's Jewelry Shop owned by JOYCE HENRICHS. Her biggest business asset is her employee ANN McCOY. Ann inspects all g ms to make sure they're the real McCoy. ANN BUSCH is the owner of Busch's Bush Business. LEONA BRUETT keeps the books in order and TH LMA FULTON trims the hedges. The class of '57 was 'wildcattingu for an oil well named VMARILYNW to help in- crease their weagre funds fcr graduation. Their plans fell through, however, when it was discovered it was a BODWELL This entire prophecy strikes me as nothing short of incredible. LARRY HAM leaves his nickname, Ichabod, to Richard Kellogg. KAREN WALTZ wills her height to Lowell Sankey. There isn't too much room for expan- sion. LARRY HARRELL alias, Sleepy, leaves his ability to sleep and keep alert in bookkeeping to anyone with enough nerve to try it. JANE WEBSTER leaves Section WM of the new unabridged to Claudia Olson to finish. MORRIS HOWELL leaves his warm-up jacket to Jean and Jane Morrissey, there's loads of room. ALICE WHALH1 leaves her long shot to those who have a flare for horse racing. That puts Sharon Hope in the running. PEGGY YOUNG leaves W.H.S. in shambles. KEITH JORGENSON leaves the yellow lightning strip on the side of his convertible to lin Brannon. It'll look sharp on your car. KAY GUIBERSON leaves her domineering personality to those freshmen who are afraid to speak up. JIM MORRIS leaves a number sixty grocery sack to Martin Hircock. No fair eating be- tween classes, Martin. KATHERINE HARTMAN leaves to take up full-time housekeeping. LARRY NICHOLL leaves his success with the girls to Jim Van Worden. JOYCE HENRICHS leaves her love scenes in the Senior Class Play to all the freshmen girlse ANN LIBBY leaves her 'voice with a smile to Marla. Jackson so that she will have two. JOYCE TRIPP wills her ambition to be a chemist to the freshman boys who got a junior chemistry set for Christmas. Watch those compounds.
