PrincipnI's Message Your Poppy of 1954-55 has had the responsibility of reporting on the classes and activities of the largest student body and faculty enrolled in Winters High School. We anticipate increases in both students and teachers in the next year. New local projects as well as normal growth have accounted for our increased population. As Superior California area increases in numbers and responsibilities the area of Winters must assume its share of such responsibility. Our youth must receive the education required to assume positions of leadership and success as citizens of the area. This education will therefore strengthen our city, our state, and also our country The graduating class of 1955 has played an important roll in adopting its training and experience to a larger school and community. Your accomplishments have been many and your adjustments numerous. We wish you every success in the future. National prosperity, happiness, and peace must result from a strong and well balanced country. Education and youth training must assist in the accomplishment Byron R . Snow I
