i 4 ,. 'ra The Warriors defending Champions were knocked off twice by last year's runner-up Clarksburg team to lose the Championship by one game. Although a good defensive team, the Warriors lacked the punch at the plate that they displayed during the previous season. The only two games the team lost were heart breakers. The first one in Clarksburg they were leading all the way, only to lose in the last inning by one run. Most all of the players were Juniors this year, with some promising Sophomores and Juniors coming up from the J V squad. Next year's varsity should be one of the best in years.
