Three students dropped out, which left us with fifty-five. This year the freshmen were spared the initiation given by the seniors until the Freshmen Reception, where they supplied the entertainment. Dale Hansen and Tommy Thomson had to scrub the gym floor with a tooth brush and a coke bottle filled with water. Then they had to peel onions in the middle of the gym floor, and Wally Snodgrass had to sew them together again. Diane Young, Karen Christie, and Frank Martinez had to wear diapers and drink milk out of a baby bottle. Bonnie Hartzog had to wear a paper bag, and Arthur Hobbs had to be dis- guised as a woman. The freshmen entered many school activities and helped to make the dances and sports a success this year. The class enjoyed tgie first year of high school and is looking forward to three more glorious years at Winters High

The gym was full of horseshoes and symbols of good fortune and bad luck. During our first meetings we found we had lots to learn about parliamentary procedure, We then discussed our weakness and our meetings improved. In between making our Youth Day float and decorating for the Baccalaureate we were thinking of our Junior Prom next year. So this year turned out to be one of our most successful years,
