BUSINESS DEPARTMENT The Business Department of Winters High School offers a variety of courses-general business, typing, shorthand, clerical practice, bookkeeping, and economics. These courses are designed to help the student make important business decisions in his everyday life or perhaps enter the world of work without additional business training. General business is a course open to freshmen and sophomores. Typing, economics, and bookkeeping are designed for both juniors and seniors. Clerical practice and shorthand are for seniors only. MUSIC DEPARTMENT The Winters Blizzard Band is a highly recognized, award-winning organization in both marching and concert. The Blizzard Band is dedicated to the finest performance standards which it can attain. This organization has won many sweepstakes awards. Band festivals have named the Blizzard Band as an outstanding band, and they have been named lst place winners in the West Texas Fair Parade many years in a row.
