E ' w me E A if wa. Miss Mattie Cooke During the course of life a person comes in contact with many wonderful people. In every community there are those who seem to rise above others. Some excel in achieve- mentsg some, in wisdom: and a few gain fame because of riches. Then there are those we remember for their over-flowing personality and the influence they have in helping us on our way. The math department of WHS has been blessed with just such a person. She has helped make our math department one of the best. All who have passed her way will remember how she mixed humor with math making her classes most enjoyable. She has a way and has a special interest in you as a person as well as a student. We, the members of the 1963-64 GLACIER Staff, are happy at this opportunity to ex- press our deepest appreciation to a most outstanding faculty member of W,H,S. in dedi- cating this 1963-64 edition of the GLACIER to MISS MATTIE COOKE.
