The task of writing a foreword is most difficult because in a school year there exist so many wonderful events and memories that we would like to remind the stude nt body of each of them indivi- duallyg our one aim, though, is to give to you an annual of which you can be proud--one that will motivate you to say, as you turn its pages, These were in-y years. . We have attempted to record the activities, trials, tribulations, and triumphs of the past year in picture and in print. We Dalicate Che I 963 Glacier Because, in dedicating the annual, the staff is dedicating all its careful planning and effort in compil- ing the GLACIER, we do not take this task lightly. Even as the best quality paints, brushes, and canvasses are nothing without the touch of a great artist, a student must have help and guidance to develop his talents and transform them into something useful. In years past, Winters has had potential for a great football team, but only this year, with the proper combination of leadership, guidance, training, and understanding, did a Blizzard team achieve greatness. It is with sincere appreciation and gratitude that we dedicate the '62-'63 GLACIER to the Blizzard coaching staff.
