MRS. ROBBINS Pink Papa Now? The English department has made several exciting changes this year in the curriculum in an effort to serve the needs of every student. For the first time elective courses in Humanities are offered alternating with Semester courses in speech; this arrangement makes both subjects available to more students.' In addition to the changes in electives, definite changes have been made in the required program. Two levelsethe Honors courses for all three grades and the 201, 301, 401 courseSeare new this year. Activities have ranged from a lively and successful Book Fair to amateur theatrics. A student strolling down the hall might have heard lines from The Strike by Rod Sterling, Julius Caesar, or a wild rendition of Cyrano complete with a pink paper nose. Mrs. Wolfe, department head, re- laxes a moment. Mrs. Peck clarifies a point in one of her classes. Mrs. Baur helps Nancy with a problem.

A familiar sight in the new building is the trek of language students to the lab. The sounds of foreign voices and occasional strains of exotic music makes them feel as though they have spent an hour in a foreign land. The corridor vibrates with exhilarating music as the Latin students sit fascinated by scenes of the past as re-enacted by modern stars such as Marlon Brando, st Rory Calhoun, and James Mason. MRS.
