However, this is not the only function of Winter Haven High Schoolis guidance coun- selors. Planning the testing program, informing upperclassmen about certain college entrance tests and scholarship tests, giving other tests and interpreting the result to students is another of Mr. Whitmeris many jobs. Besides helping students with their problems, Mrs. Schopke is in charge of the many college catalogs which are published to encourage students to attend college. Mrs. Whitney, the registrar, is responsible for scheduling and schedule changes. In addition to her counseling duties, she sponsors Student Council and teaches a social studies class as does Mrs. Schopke. The students of Winter Haven High have much to thank these hard-working people for.

Mr. Raione and his staff of assistants have the difficult task of keeping track of over 1700 students- at Winter Haven High School, besides distributing absentee lists, and keeping attendance records. We at Winter Haven High School owe a debt of gratitude to the unceas- ing efforts of Mr. Raione and his staff. I wonder if they're checking My pass?
