Loren Wolfinbarger tries to figure out what the GREEN WAVES are saying after the game with the BLUE DEVILS in the Tri-Hi-Y skit. The Glee Club skit was a take-off on the old West. Devils’ The second annual Devils’ Doings was a big success. Skit competition was tough, but the judges finally declared that Tri-Hi-Y and Glee Club had tied for first place; second place was awarded to the Doings Anchor Club. To add to the excitement, Whimp, portrayed by Billy Wadley, was introduced as our new school mascot. Charlie Rickard gets a prod from Jan Myers in the Anchor Club skit. Whimp, Winter Haven Imp, our new school mascot, was introduced on the day of Devils’ Doings. Celctinc Moran was awarded the prize for this ingenious name. The senior football players take over the duties of the cheerleaders. Page 28 i Dressed as the boys, the cheerleaders talk over the prospects of the homecoming game.
