Homecoming Toni Watkins and Hoy Williamson took the spotlight that night as rulers of the celebration. The all-important Homecoming football game, in which the Blue Devils were victorious over Leesburg, was celebrated at the Annual Homecoming Dance. This climaxed a successful weekend of parades, Devils’ Doings, and Pep Meetings. The F.F.A. was awarded first prize for the best Homecoming float. Chester breaks down the field for another touchdown to assist the “Devils’ in an overwhelming defeat over the “Yellow Jackets.” HOMECOMING COURT: Joann Wear, Kay Warren.
