Hanging out under a shady tree to avoid the heat. Eating and drinking loads of ice cold refreshments. Ice Cream! Lemonade! or watermelon anyone? A lot of studying in a short period An evening game of tennis here and there Halters, tube tops, short pants, sun dresses, sandals, tee shirts, bikinis, swimming trunks, straw hats, bare backs,'whew! Sure is hot! Taking a swim at the nearest pool. Preparing for that last and final exam. Having fun at a corn roast or jamming at an outdoor rock concert. Relaxing and enjoying music at sunset. Getting set for softball at the annual picnic. ... Staying up until the wee hours of morning to putthe finishing touches on a project. . .. The song has ended, but the memory lingers on.
