he community of this university is complete in lIS6lf with an administration building, six academic build- ings, five labs, an auditorium, a gym, a cafeteria, a student union, a library, seven dorms, and a health center. An on-cam- pus bank, student store, beauty salon, barber shop, laundry, and recreational facilities, all invite us to make this our home. Yet as We involve ourselves in this microcosm, we become aware of the larger community and the potential for growth beyond our little world. Joining with three other local colleges, we reach out into the community through urban affairs to serve beside those agencies who seek to resolve urban problems and to make Way for change and improvement. Our participation be- comes more involved - our microcosm changes.

With a 15:1 studentffaculty ratio, we continually find the opportunity to seek out new horizons through the resource people available to us. A library of 120,000 vol- ume capacity -- wisdom from the past and the present -ef- and varying aids broaden these horizons so that the academ- ic dream becomes a reality for us. The university situation is already a learning experience, and coupled with high academic standards, internationally respected professors willing to share their knowledge, and the deep desire to grow, it becomes the key to our meeting the future. ll the preparation for which we can hope. i Xe Q , 8
