Foreword There is a definite goal which each man seeks in procuring a place in society. The fulfillment of this goal is two-fold-the individual's self- motivation in securing his goals and the institution which he feels is worthy of these attainments. Thus, his place in society is a mirror re- flecting how well he has utilized the opportunities set forth by the institution. If worth had not been an attribute of Winstom-Salem State College, it probably would not have reached its 75th year of matriculation. Had it not offered to its student body and faculty members all of the fields that comprise a full and wholesome education which includes cultural, social, religious, and academic opportunities, chances are it would not possess its present status. If it had not given to us all of the values we were seeking as future educators, we, the Senior Class of 1968, would not hold our Alma Mater, Winston-Salem State College would not have flourished to the apex of success that it is now. Now that our wishes have been fulfilled and our values heightened, we, the Senior Class of 1968, can truthfully say that wt have attained Excellence Without, Excuse. Therefore, we give full dedication to Winston-Salem State College in commemoration to its 75th Anniversary. As we attempt to impliment Winstom-Salem State College's immortal motto, Enter To Learn, Depart To Serve, we will always repeat in full chorus: As 1l'eg0f01'z'l1 from ole S. C.
