The Jackets stung Haleyville with a 27 to 173 loss before a capacity crowd at Double Springs. The Lions were unable to sche- dule a band game for this week and will be idle. They have added Lynn to the schedule for the band game on November 13th. Double Springs will go to Meek Friday night in Search of their third victory of the 1953 season. The Jackets completely outclass- ed Haleyville as thy ran up 306 yards rushing to 131 for Haleyvilie. scoring in each quarter. Haleyf ville's scores came in the second and fourth quarters. A fine Double Springs line made it possible for Jacket backs to rack up the yardage when needed. O. B. Rowe got away on gallopz of 45 and 10 yards.
