He said he enjoyed teaching the class because it was different. The class was different from the other vocational classes, he emphasized, because the knowledge gained could be used to develop either a life-long hobby or a career and it offered extensive car- pentry experience. Mr. Swint added that he taught his stu- dents to organize their thoughts and use their individual skills to plan and create. A combination of planning, creativity and organized thought helped the students to do their best work, he added.
