We your Meteor staff, hope that this Golden Edition of your 1962-63 Meteor will have all these meanings and many more for you. This is the close of the 50th year at Winslow High School. We hope we have been able to preserve many memorable moments for you as you look through events from September 1962 to June 1963. As your Editor I have many to thank— A special thanks to Mr. Harvey Moody. Without his efforts we would have not accomplished our goal. To Maureen McKim, my Assistant Editor and to the entire staff I especially want to say thank you, your efforts were untiring. Our Photographers, with their ever ready flash, were most cooperative and helpful. Many thanks to our advertisers, without their help we would be unable to have our annual. Now the great Phenomenon is leaving the atmosphere and only the memory of having experienced it lingers on. May you enjoy your book, we have enjoyed editing it for you. Farewell, Helen Kaye Jensen Meteor Editor 1962-63 Memories WINSLOW HIGH SCHOOL WINSLOW, ARIZONA
