NASSER Sophomores To start our Sophomore year off right we elected a fine bunch of hard working officers. . . . The Sophomore girls made up the majority of those who participated in the Pep Squad initiation, which consisted of all the humiliating things that always happen to Rats. , „ When the Elks Quarterback Club sponsored the annual Football Banquet, our class out did all previous Sophomores by lettering eleven men. After suffering through semester tests, the year rushed on with the pace of basketball. Flagstaff was the scene of both the Northern and State Tournaments and many Sophomores were spectators to both oi these. With the aid of the Seniors, our Senior-Sophomore Dance was an affair to be proud of, as was our class assembly. ASC at f lagstaff was the scene of the NAIA Music Festival and many of the participants were from the class of ’51. May saw the close of school with its tests, assemblies and spring fever. With the anticipation for better things to come, we look back over our year of Sophomores as one well spent, and look forward to our Junior year as the most thrilling yet.
