Soph omores Septanl cr . . registration day and there we were signing tip as intelligent Sophomores. 'c could push the freshmen around this year; that really lifted our ego. Before the morning was over, though, we had hern deflated; it seemed there were two classes above us. , V'O. Things progressed with rapid speed. Some of the girls in our class were initiated on Rat Day and thereafter took an active part in l‘cp Squad Activities. W'c had a few honored bovs in the W Club too. In Novem-l er. we put on our school assembly which proved to lie a raving success. We were very pleased when the audience laughed at our jokes. We worried along with the other classes over our semi-final tests in January but we lived through it and our first few months of being Sophomores had a happv ending for most of us! The second .Semester went a little slower than the first one but it was none the less successful. We took part in the bulldog Rumpus and helped the Seniors put on the Senior-Sophomore Dance. They both turned out to l)C wonderful events and we were glad we had hel| cd. Although some of ns wondered alxnit it. the end of the year finally came. We were all inclined to be exceptional students, hut nevertheless we burned the midnight oil” before the final tests. I he study proved to l c .worthwhile, and most of us left our class with regret over leaving our title of Sophomore. We have pleasant memories but we know that there are lug things to come!
