That year was full of many new things, such as locker combinations and Upper-Classman rule. The next year we became the high and mighty eighth graders. At least we could feel superior to someone! We took part in the Bulldog Rumpus that year, and took first prize with our float in the parade. Finally in September, 1946, we became green Freshmen and for the first time actually took part in any high school activities. We helped sponsor the Junior-Freshman Dance, put on an assembly, and of course took part in the Bulldog Rumpus. Again we took first prize in the parade. In our Sophomore year we began to feel the responsibilities of high school activities even more. Our Sophomore Assembly was a success, as was the Senior-Sophomore Dance. We again helped to make the Bulldog Rumpus a success. For the third consecutive year, our float took first place in the parade. As Juniors we were finally the high and mighty upper-classmen. Our Junior Play, “We Shook the Family Tree,” was a high success, so was our Junior Assembly. Again this year we took part in the Bulldog Rumpus, and this year our float took second in the parade. But new to us this year we sponsored the Junior Prom and a good time was had by all that were there. We are looking forward to our last year as Seniors.
