BILL GARDNER President DONNA PETERSON Vice-President PATTI LOU TACKETT Secret n rjj LEONA KOENIG Treasurer LUILOX1 We entered Winslow High School as mighty seventh graders in 1943. The next year we re-organized the Junior High Council after a year of inactivity. We succeeded in putting on a Junior High Dance that year and brought in more money during the Bulldog Rumpus than any other class. On May 25, 1945, we received our diplomas and became full-fledged Freshmen. We passed through our Freshman and Sophomore years in the usual way, with a number of successes and a few failures. This year we came back as upper-classmen. With the help of the Freshman Class we put on the annual Junior-Freshman Dance. We gave our assembly on February 6. which consisted of a pantomine, a debate, a reading, a piano selection, and last but not least, a beautiful ballet by eight of our most graceful boys. We put on the Junior Play, The Harvest Queen, which was a huge success. We sponsored the Junior Prom and were repaid for our hard work in preparation by our beautiful decorations and the wonderful time had by all. For the Rumpus we sponsored Bingo, the White Elephant auction, a cake raffle, and a re-engagement of the Ballerinas. Our boys have been active in sports throughout the year. After three years in High School we are looking forward to returning to our Senior year. Paye Twenty-nine
