RALPH DAVIS JANE KARELIN JANET SCOTT JEAN STILLWELL President Vice President Secretary Treasurer J I I 0 It s Three years ago the Class of 1948 entered Winslow High School and began to assume new responsibilities. As Freshmen we built the “W for all the football rallies. We did our part in making the Bulldog Rumpus a success. Other freshmen activities included an assembly for the entire school and the Junior-Freshman dance. When we became Sophomores our first action was to instruct the Freshmen in their duties about Winslow High School and to familarize them with its customs. At the Bulldog Rumpus our “Kite Club” and “Western Union” were patronized by almost everyone. The Senior-Sophomore dance was an outstanding event of the year. Our assembly “SOPH” was a realistic radio program. This year we became upper-classmen. We are striving to make Winslow High a place of importance in our lives. This year a large percentage of the football team consisted of members from our ranks. As Juniors we have taken an increasing share of duties and reponsibilities. The Junior Play and Junior Prom are some of our important social events. The ’’Kite Club” “White Elephant,” “Style Show,” and the “Basketball Throw” were our contributions to the success of the Bulldog Rumpus. In 1947 we hope to be the largest and best class that has ever graduated from good old Winslow High. Our Senior year is going to be one that everyone will long remember as a very eventful year at our Alma Mater. Page Fifteen
