SENIORS As the graduating class of 1946. we Seniors look back upon our last four years in Winslow High School with fond memories. A review of all our activities would be impossible, but we can touch upon a few of the high points in our high school life. During our Freshman year, we were subjected to the initiation of the upperclassmen. We faithfully carried out our obligation of constructing the “W“ for the football rallies. Also, along with the Juniors, we presented the traditional Junior-Freshman dance. As Sophomores, we added to our prestige by helping to present the Senior Sophomore •lance. In that same year, the Bulldog Rumpus was revived. We took second place honors on our float and placed first in the interclass basketball tournament and second in the interclass track meet. By the time we had become Juniors, our fame and prestige had become widely known. Our Junior play. June Mad. was a roaring success, bringing down the house in every act. c- along with the Freshmen, presented the annual Junior-Freshman dance and won the interclass track meet. For the second straight year, we made more money than any other class in the Bulldog Rumpus. Our crowning achievement in our Junior year was our presentation of the Junior Prom. Heavily decorated in a patriotic theme, the Prom was declared the best ever held in Winslow High School. At last, after eleven long years of study, we became the mighty Seniors, undisputed rulers of Winslow High. With the aid of the Sophomores, we put on the Senior-Sophomore dance. In November we presented the Senior Play. “The (loose Hangs High.” Our last formal presentation to the High School was the Senior Hop. proclaimed one of the finest ever held. Now as we take our leave of our Alma Mater, we wish to bequeath to its future graduating classes the joy and happiness we have had throughout our high school life. Page Thirteen
