S. queen. Billie Jean, who chose Gary Alley, Eskimo guard, for her king, won this honor by soliciting funds for the Senior class. In the order of votes solicited the other queen candidates were as follows: Evelyn Hume hnaid of honorj, Marilyn Miley, Joan Bonenberger, Velma Curry, Paula Handrick, Neva Schumacher, Nancy Brenton, Betty Abell, Sally Sue Brown, Jo Ella Hayes, and Bobbie Jones. 53
