My girl made a dress out of one of my ties. George N.- Who was the straightest man in the Bible? Austin E.- Joseph, because Pharoah made a ruler out of him. Mr. Houchin- Lawrence, what would you take to keep still? Lawrence- Nothing Mr. Houchin- Well, you will get something if you don't keep still. Condog What is your test average in Geometry? Chig.- Got 97 so far. Condo-i'Mighty good. Chig.- Yeh. Made forty on the first test, thirty on the second, and twenty' seven on the third. Fred W.- I'm going to make a plant that will grow strawberries and creamf Mr. Houchin- How is that? Fred- By grafting strawberry plants and milk weeds. Vernon B.- When I die and go to heaven, I am going to ask Shakespeare if he really wrote all those plays. George N.-ff- But if he isn't there-? Vernonf Then you ask him for me. Haskell W.- The spoils system is a system where the mayor of an Illinois city appoints a feller who takes his old horse and wagon and drives all over the city and examines the garbage cans and removes the spoils.
