R J Wll ms, Senior High Back to oaks Administration, represented by Superintendent Bauer, himself a Navy veteran, opens wide the school door to welcome faculty members back to Winona High. Robert Pendleton, George Nash, Verdi Ellies, all Navy dischargees, and john Fuhl- brugge, an Army man, have returned to the books that they put aside for implements of war. Newly added to the W. H. S. staff are Gordon Addington, Alton Carlson and Norman Mindrum, Navy, Frank Mahovlich, Army Air Corps, Robert Fiester and Milton Davenport, Army. Ralph J. Williamsisprincipal and reigning power of W. H.S., to whom persons, big and small, bring their excuses, their alibis, their daily problems. Interested, and willing to do all possible for Winona High's returning servicemen, faculty and stu- dents, Mr. Williams is always on the alert to procure the best for Winona High.
