Edgar Allen Poe has never been surpassed—except maybe by Alfred Hitchcock! ENGLISH English is a must, and a course is provided for each year. In addition to basic English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition, the student is introduced to the history and appreciation of the world's literature with special emphasis on American and English writings. Required parallel reading supplements the textbooks and adds to- the students7 cultural growth. A course in Business English is offered for the commerce students.
