Anchor Sailed To Perfection The Anchor Club, sponsored by the Pi- r lot Club of Winnfield, was a club for young girls of good character and leadership. Each girl held a 2.5 grade average or above. Its purpose for perfection was to encourage civic and social duties in our community building leadership, good char- acter, Christian ideals and academic suc- cess. Beta Burns The Books Pac Man Hit The Jackpot. Beta members created a superior float which placed second in this year's homecoming parade. Beta is an honorary scholastic organization for high school students who are always burning the midnight oil. Membership qualifications ina clude worthy character, scholarship, creditable achievement, and commendable attitude. Each member is required to maintain the 3.0 average. lts purpose is to stimulate effort, to reward achievement, and to encourage its members to continue their education after high school. Beta was a top club at Winnfield Senior High School this year and its members were certainly hot stuff.
