Hrtl Steal' 8: Score' The Tigers cruised and enjoyed a 15-3 season this year. After a sec- ond place finish in the LaSalle Tournament the Tigers rolled to a district championship and into the state playoffs. They finished their season in the quarter-final playoffs against Notre Dame of Crowley. The Tiger squad was a young team having only three seniors. Barnes Myles and Roberts fin- ished their baseball quest with a 15- 3 record. The troop had a sticky defense and could be described as agressive at the plate. Not only was the team young super-defensive and agressive but also played the game intelligently. These characteristics made 1983 Tiger Baseball a big hit.
