-----A Student Life CELEBRATION Our Celebration started on Monday mornings and continued through the weekends. Something was always happening. Academically, aceing an important test, giving oral reports, or just starting that paper that was due the next morning. After school, many of us spent hours practicing for Saturday's game, decorating for Friday night's dance, or meeting with our advisors. While many others were busy at their after school jobs. No matter what we were doing, “dedicated was the word that described our attitude. With a “Never say die outlook, we strived to attain our goals. OPEN ARMS Junior Prom 83 It was a memorable night for everyone, a night that most of us had waited for and looked forward to for many months. It was our Junior Prom, a night not soon to be forgotten. With the special theme of Open Arms, the prom was held at the Ashworth by the Sea. The night was full of energy and delight as everyone danced to the music of Cruzin. Towards the end of the night, tensions were mounting as the ballots for the queen and her court were being counted. After the ballots had been counted Mr. Gagne announced the Queen, Sara Price and her court, Brenda Downey, Lynn Grandmasion, Amy Adams, Mary Cutshall, Michelle Blaisdell, and Trudy Gagne. This was a perfect way to end the evening. Our dreams had been realized, and we had recorded this very memorable moment. The tuxes and gowns were put away, but the memories linger on.
