The reason for this was the defense led by Co-captains Skip Heal and Don Dorr and the fine goal tending of Dick Paul. Along with the rest of the team only 7 goals were scored in the regular season by the opponents. The 1970 Warrior football season consisted of many anxious, spirited, encouraging, yet disappointing moments. Victories over traditional rivals, Somersworth and Salem highlighted the season along with a victory over a new opponent Stevens. Moving into Division II with an inexperienced team proved a difficult task, but because the majority of the players will be returning next year, the future outlook is good. T8 Strive Seek No bees, no honey: No work, no money. A mans reach should exceed his grasp. If you want your dreams to come true you must wake up. It's always darkest before dawn. Never start what you can't finish. Venture a small fish and catch a great one. If there were no clouds, we would not enjoy the sun.' Life is like a ice cream cone, you have to learn to lick it. Crises are part of life. If you can't do great things you can do small things in a great way. You can't live as long as you want but you can want as long as you live. It takes a whole life to learn how to live. Do unto others as they would do unto you. Desire and determination will lead to success and satisfaction. Do what ever you love but love what you do. I Truth is on the march and nothing can stop it. I For everything you have missed you have gained something. I It is better to be happy than wise. I The fairest apple hangs on the highest bough. I Friends like mushrooms spring unexpected. I It will rain on a sunny day. I How quickly one forgets. I To thine own self be true. Life everywhere is full of things to love. When you see something beautiful,, Life everywhere is full of things to love. When you see something beautiful, you know you're surrounded by love and it fills you with wonder. It may be a green meadow that tells you spring is here . . . or a big leafy tree that shelters you from the rain or a sky full of stars on a crisp autumn night. Sometimes it is better to believe the heart, than all the knowledge of the world. The reward of anything well done is to have done it. Act well your part, there all the honor lies. Patience is a tree whose roots are very bitter but the fruit thereof is very sweet. When you find someone you love the simplest moments together will be filled with happiness.'
