INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS CENTER Mr. Peter Brooks Director Let's see now A new Instructional Materials Center has been established this year in the former music rooms at Winnacunnet. This project, esta- blished under a federal grant received by Supervisory Union 21 in 1966, provides library and audio-visual services to the twelve schools in the union and operates in-service training programs for teachers. The center houses a large collection of books, films, filmstrips, tapes, records, transparencies, and other instructional aids. Many of these are produced by the I.M.C. staff with the new equipment nowavailable. Several W.H.S. students have become actively involved in the work by assisting in the office and in the darkroom. The little blue delivery van of the LM.C. has become a familiar sight around our school. 25 Watch the fingers!

Theresa J. Wentworth Department Head, English Death be not proud, though some have called thee Mighty and dread- ful, for thou art not so . . A generation of students echoes Donne's words because they will remember Mrs.. Theresa Wentworth, now departed but still alive in the minds and hearts of all who knew her. In our century, one littered with hordes of uncommitted men, the loss of one so deeply devoted to her God, her family, and her work is a loss not easily replaced. For Mrs. Wentworth brought to us at Winnacunnet a kind respect for all men; a love of the aesthetic;a desire for academic excellence simple dignity seededand harvested in the great literature of the past. Let us not become sentimental but rather inspired by the memory of Mrs. Went- worth and the signal contribution she has made to Winnacunnet and to each of us in our lives. In this way death can be defeated, and she will live on, forever. 24
