Representing the students of W.B.I. the Student Council, led by our capable president — Dan Doerksen, discussed the various issues concerning student life and curriculum. Student Chapels, held every Friday, were planned by the council as well as the organization of the work day.

WORK DAY A worK day was held in October in which all students participated cheerfully in spite of the cold weather. Washing windows, housecleaning, and doing other odd-jobs in the town of Winkler as well as helping on farms at home, in some cases, brought us sufficient funds to complete the payment on our stero in the co-ed lounge and buy a typewriter for the Student Council.
