ELIZABETH WIENS St. Catharines, Ont. I’ll pray not for tasks equal to my strength but for strength equal to my task. JAKE PETERS Morden, Man. I Corinthians 6:20 — For ye are bought with a price, there¬ fore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. On behalf of our second class students I would like to commend the third class students of their job of making us feel so much at home on the campus. I am sure I can speak for everyone of the students in saying that this year has been a pleasant experi¬ ence for us working both with the older students and the faculty. For those of us who are returning next year I hope we will make the new students feel at home as we felt. A word of encouragement for both the second class and the graduating class. Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today. Exodus 14.13. “It is the yielding of our wills without restrictions and without choice, to tread cheerfully everyday in the path in which providence leads us to advance us in our Christian course.” Robert Kuhl 24

Student (Council Left to Right: Ted Goossen, Dave Enns, Robert Kuhl, Treasurer; Helen Martens — Secretary: Mr. Goossen — Staff Advisor; Bert Baerg — President; Dan Doerksen; Esther Nikkei; Ed Kroeker; Mary Dueck; Ron Braun. Most students came to the Bible Institute to study. However, our training would not be complete if it were not possible for us to apply our know ledge. Sure they act as “feelers” in the nervous system of the school, thus aiding the council in providing opportunities for the applica¬ tion of knowledge. The council has attempted to maintain a close relationship between the staff and students, provide for social welfare, and private spiritual growth. We as council thank the students for their co-operation in upholding the principles and spirit of W.B.I. We also thank God for guidance and for definite answers to prayer which we have ex¬ perienced. May God continue to use the Winkler Bible Institute for the promotion of His Kingdom. Bert Baerg (Student President) 26
