(I Con. 12:28 RSI ) Tucked away in Paul ' s impnessive list of God’s gifts to the chunch, mid high vocations and capacities of many sonts, is the wond helpers. It is a shining wond. It is a vocation to which anyone can as pine. My pnayen is that I may be a tnue helpen and that by the gnace of God I may be of help to those with whom I come in contact. Leonand Voenksen Music is one of God ' 6 gifts to man. It is tnue that thene one diverse musical stales, and white we may be Tamilian with only a few of these, it cannot be denied that all music has an effect on the listenen. The effect of good chunch music is that it points the heanen to God, and lifts us above the vicissitudes of life. The Chnistian musician ' s task, then, is to make that music which will elscit a fenvent nesponse f[nom and have a nedemptive effect on the listenen. It is my hope that chunch musicians at eveny level will always bean in mind the nesponsibility of thein noble calling. J.
