MR. A. M. ANDRES CHOIR THEORY CONDUCTING HYMNOLOGY VOICE PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING GENERAL EPISTLES PERSONAL EVANGELISM 2 FALSE CULTS N.T. BIBLE MAJOR PROPHETS PUBLIC SPEAKING GREEK (Elementary) The two dominant themes in the work of a Bible school teacher could be stated in two words: Privilege and Responsibility. It is a privilege to be under the influence of the Word of God daily, to be compelled to dig into it, and by teaching others, enrich our own lives. Moreover, if it is not to presumptious, God has given us a unique opportunity as His co-workers to help guide the destiny of many young people. This then, brings one face to face with the tremendous responsibility of representing Christ aright, not only theoretically but practically. In view of this responsi¬ bility we pray with Katie B. Wilkinson: May the mind of Christ my Saviour Live in me from day to day, By His love and power controlling All I do and say. 8

REV. H. LENZMANN BIBLE SYNTHESIS HISTORICAL BOOKS PAULINE EPISTLES MISSIONS The eagle that soars the upper air does not worry about how it will cross the river. It is my prayer to live in close fellowship with the Lord. As we live in fellow¬ ship with Him our life is directed by Him and He does make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. These are new and elevating experiences. This is the time when we get to know Him and the power of His resurrection. As we do so and yield to Him, we are changed into His image from glory to glory as by the Spirit of the Lord. Christ was not influenced by the circumstances round about Him. His meat was to do His Father’s will. As we conform to His will and Word we are enabled to live above the circumstances. 7

MR. JOHN FROESE babik OLD TESTAMENT BIBLE GERMAN LIFE OF CHRIST CHURCH HISTORY MENNONITE HISTORY The serious-minded, responsible Christian youth is in search of life — where does it begin? There are many voices which offer answers. But the voice and life of Jesus teach that LIFE begins at DEATH. “. . . except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” This is God’s law of life. Let us “not be deceived; God is not mocked.” Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” —John 10:10. 9
