Alfred Penner David Klippenstein Sylvia Dyck Mr. Allan Andres THE MUSIC COMMITTEE The responsibility of the music committee was to appoint different singing groups to serve in the morning chapel and in the hospital. This added much to the service and it gave opportunity for student participation. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., a group served in the local hospital with six or seven songs, Scripture, and prayer. It was our sincere desire that the patients and staff be encouraged and strengthened through this ministry. Together with our choir director, we tried to make music an integral part of our Christian life. It was a privilege for the committee to assist in the musical activities of the school. Our prayer is that this work could be of lasting benefit and blessing. Sylvia Dyck. Eric Klassen Linda Klassen Bruno Toews Eleanor Baerg LITERARY COMMITTEE During the course of the school year, the literary committee was responsible for the organization and presentation of several literary functions. These included the monthly Christian Endeavour program, the sponsoring of the talent night, and the planning and preparation of the evening program of the proposed visit of the Grade Twelve students of the Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute. These programs proved a blessing to all of us and proved a channel for self-expression. As a committee we are grateful to God for having had this opportunity to serve. 30 Eric Klassen.
