FAREWELL As the Arabian caravan travelled across the desert sands, it came across a man dying of thirst. As he sipped the water given to him, he said, “It never tasted so good.” This man found the water refreshing and life-giving, and likewise our souls have experienced a far greater “living water” through the study of God’s Word. We have enjoyed the systematic and thorough exposition of many portions in the Bible. Our study, verse by verse, and chapter by chapter, developed a new appreciation of Scripture and removed the veil of obscurity many times. These expositions opened our eyes to new spiritual truths which by God’s grace we have been able to incorporate into our daily lives. As the third class, we have been happy to fellowship with our first and second classes. If we reminisce and recall the years when we filled your places, we feel we can understand your position as you face the ’62-’63 school term. The Lord has helped us in our responsibilities and we are confident that in Him you will also find grace and guidance to provide leadership when you will fill our places. This period of study is an important stepping stone to future achievements. The theme has been preparation and spiritual maturity. We praise God for the love and grace He has given us, and our wish is—that the beauty of Jesus may be seen in us. We challenge you to experience an even greater measure of the same. —Richard Labun.
