Second Class The second class of 1953-54 has been an active and interested group. The young people of this class entered into their studies with a spirit that gratified their instructors. The Lord will reward those who “open their mouths wide” for His truth. The class saw the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John and Philippians. It was instructed and warned by the lives of the Old Testament kings. It began a study of the great Bible Doctrines, and received an Introduction to the books of the New Testament. Language is necessary to a knowledge of God’s Word, so the class strove to improve its English and German. On the practical side of the Chris¬ tian life it studied Ethics, Sunday School Methods, Child Study and Conducting. It gained an insight into the exper¬ iences of the Church since Pentecost. May the class members retain all these truths and profit by them.
