No, it hurts! Somebody say something. Why won't you dance with me? The name of the Senior class play was The Cataclysmic Loves of Coop- er and Looper and their Friend who was Squashed by a Moving Van. It began with the loopers giving an overnight house party for the basketball team who had von the state championship with only five players. The love interest was soul-shattering and second only bo the tragic scene, where onfe of the love interests supposedly ran in front of a moving van--. Tb try to clarify the plot is near impossible, but as a start. Filthy McNasty and Chick Achiski were unhappy over the glowing attention Billy and Claude Cooper had been getting simply because they scored the last thirty paints in the tournament. Claude met Baby Lee and it was love at first sight. So, Filthy and Chick tried to break up the romance by stag- ing a flast love scene, using Shirley and Chick as the characters, but telling Claude that it was Baby Lee. That started the ball rolling, but it didn't stop until the death scene starring Baby Lee. When natters became too complicated, they found they must bring her back to life in the way of a sister--Effalou. Poppalooper (grandfather) and Aunt Finit- tny were the zaniest and involved Filthy and Chick in a tie-up scene that was something else! Need we say this play was different. Who the @ % do you think you are? Senior Bleeps Blunders Past stars of American Bandstand JUNIOR PLAY The Junior class held 3 one- act plays. The first one was The Mystery of the locked Roan . It was a thrilling mystery about the Winthrop family. Mr Winthrop be- came the sole heir of a large, ghostly family mansion. The fam- ily moved into the mansion only to find mysterious relatives, secret roans, and unexplainable noises. This play kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Shock of His Life and Sure As You're Bom were the next two plays presented. They were both comedies dealing with the Maxwell family. In Shock of His Life , Mr. Maxwell, played by Bryan Bawden, somehow came to the conclusion that he is dying. Of course, there had been a misunder- standing largely due to the uncan- petence of the teenage son, Wilbur, played by King Hickey. In Sure As You’re Bom , Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell, played by King Hickey and Camille LaTray, wished they had a girl in- stead of their mischievous son, Wil- bur. Betty Lou Maxwell (Anita Stulc) and Connie Maxwell (Kevin Eooncm) add to the hilarious antics that go on in the Maxwell hone. What's nv line? WHO CARES!!!!!
