MARY ELLEN HEGGEM - This brown haired beauty works extra hard at all she undertakes, especially her correspondence to Wash. Mary Ellen is class pres, and 'B' squad cheerleader. JEAN REPPE - Co-editor of the Prairie Dog Chatter and cheerleader, this popular gal still finds time to get good grades. SANDY SCHROEDER - The shortest girl in the class can also make the largest disturb- ance. She is well liked by all. DAVID SKINNER - Sleek hairdos have be- come his trademark. He can often be seen wheeling a snazzy '56 Chevrolet. LARRY UDELHOVEN - This boy spent the year playing exciting games of basketball and football. In the meantime, he was guide for the big game hunters (Lehman and Sauvageau). BOB WICKENS - A 'cool cat' whose interest lies in the Frosh. class, takes part in sports and displays much talent in this field. CHERYL WILCOX - Taking up the pace set by her sister, Cheryl has become an excel- lent student. She also works hard as a li- brarian at the high school library. BOB WHERLEY - Bob has an outstanding record in all school athletics. He played the romantic lead in the class play like an expert.

RONNIE HEGGEM - Ron, the 9 a. m. scholar, has height and skill which make him a good basketball player. GAIL PHILP - Always into mischief, this pert little gal keeps the whole school jump- ing, including the teachers. BEATRICE ARTHUR - The artist ofW.H.S. is known for her work as Pep Club treasurer and Co-editor of the Prairie Dog Chatter. JAMES GIBBONS - Known for his good looks and the work he has done on the school pa- per. Jim also participates in sports. BETTY HAMILTON - If you see a pretty smiling face it could easily be Betty, a girl who is always ready to help. ALICE ASBJORNSON - Friend and classmate, Alice was Homecoming Queen Candidate and played the role of Gail McAdams in the Junior Class Play. DWIGHT PHILLIPS - Getting all A’s seems to be his hobby as does participating in sports and driving his different vehicles. JUDY PUTRO - Judy survived the short hair fad successfully as she still has long, silky, brown hair. She has many friends, boy- friends included.
