SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE Much planning and hard work has gone into the production of this yearbook. Its stories and pictures give you, its readers, a bird’s-eye view of life as it existed in the Winifred School dur- ing the year 1957-1958. Much credit should go to the members of the annual staff and their advisor, Mr. Spoja. They have done a magnificent job. To you students, and parents of students, this book will have a perpetual value. In fact, it will become more treasured with its age. You will refer to its pictures and stories many, many times in years to come. Its pages will permit you, the students of 1957-1958. to relive and reminisce your happy school days at Winifred. As you read this book, in future years, you will chuckle and laugh at the mode of dress worn by you and your classmates in 1957-1958. You will recall the many happy and carefree moments of your youth. It is the sincerest hope of the undersigned that the future of each and every student shall be blessed with a long and full life of good health, great happiness and unbounded success. Sincerely, h

We are happy to present the 1958 RED RAIDER. We hope, as you turn the pages, it will bring back many memories of the school year 1957-1958. This was the year that the Braves won the series and Sputnik was introduced into our world. Also, many things have taken place in our own school. We have tried to write them down for you. We hope you will enjoy reading the RED RAIDER as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.
