(?1 Z46 PioftAecy The year is 1980. The place is a little fortune telling booth where we can survey the class of '57 through the crystal ball. As we gaze into its depths we see an airplane just landing. As the door opens, out steps Nancy Simac. At last her dream of becoming a stewardess has materialized. But she is soon going to give up her career for a well-known magazine editor, whom she had met on one of her flights. As this scene passes from view the crystal ball clouds over. As it clears again we see a ranch scene. This place looks familiar - why it's the Arthur ranch. It seems that Jim has taken over his father’s ranch, known over the country as the James Arthur and sons Diamond-T Ranch. Next a huge building comes into view. As we look closer we can read the sign, New York General Hospital,” and we see a nurse just coming down the steps. Could it be - why, yes. It's JoAnn Tuss following her high school ambi- tion to become a nurse. She tells us she plans on traveling around to different places and seeing the country. Now the crystal ball fades over again. After much concentration we bring back the scene of a huge insurance firm - We Take All. Here we see the former Wilma Udelhoven. Wilma was a secretary for the firm but soon she married the boss's son. She and her husband now run the firm. Next, we see a huge estate. Is that someone sitting in the shade of that tree? Sure enough, it's Bill Sawyer. It seems Bill discovered a uranium mine when he accidentally kicked over a rock as he was sauntering down the road. He mined enough to retire and now lives a life of ease on his estate. Bill Sawyer wills his eggbeater hairdo to Billy Rich, his typing ability to Melvin Udelhoven, and his ability to arrive at school at one minute after nine to John Hunt. Jimmy Arthur wills his name Dudley to Ray Asbjornson, his friendship with the teachers to Tom Walling, and his parking spot on Lover's Hill to Noble Hamilton. Nancy Simac wills her cheerleading to Shirley Erlandson, her driving ability to Louie Miros, and her butterflying to Judy Udelhoven. Wilma Udelhoven wills her last seat in the study hall to Sharon Sawyer, her skip days to Roland and Frank, and her school schedule to Mildred Stilson. JoAnn Tuss wills her cheerleading to Patsy Arthur, her editorship of the annual to anyone who will have it, and the PN ferry to Helen Duvall.
