' ' ii Qalivn .-345: - f 'x n 'x Dedication r U , 1 J . . +4-1-1' Three attributes help to distinguish the master teacher. Such a person must have a solid background ol' information on the subject, must have the ability to Communicate this int'ormation to the students, and must have the sincere desire to see students acquire knowledge and maturity. Lacking any of these, a teacher belongs to the vast majority who do an aeeeptable job, but without distinction. Wingfield has been fortunate to have more than her share of master teachers since her beginning. And it is with pride that we dedicate this yearbook to a most deserving mem- ber ol' this group. Seldom does one find in at teacher the eoneern, the fairness, the under- standing, and the sense of humor whieh so many students have come to appreciate in him. As an expression ol' our eternal gratitude for his influence during these high school ears, we dedicate this 1971 Rameur to Mr. Alan Lowe. Y ,gggv . 1 1 19 'lb .gd 'mx if 4495 .FG , we A LLV., 7... J. 28 Whatley, Suzanne 28 White, Barbara J. 28 In reviewing the year gone by, we recall many experiences - sometimes trying, always challenging. This brings to mind memories of good times borne along and had times passed through. These are limes that instill in each of us the need to pray even more fervently Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peacef, This year has been a time of discov- ery, but every moment has been so precious, so short. We, the 1971 Rameur staff have endeavored to capture the year in a volume of pictures and writing. Special gratitude must be expressed to the many who have played a part in making this yearbook possible. Vessen Magee of Magee Photographers and Bill Davis have been untiring in their efforts to provide us with quality pictures. The administration and faculty here at Wingfield must be thanked for their patience and understanding throughout the year. Also, our appreciation is expressed to Kenneth Quinn and the Whitten Art Club, Palmer's Florists, the pub- lic relations and sales staffs of Taylor Publishing Company, and countless others who have had a part in this effort. Most of all, though, 1 would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Collins, to my extremely understanding family and friends, and to the fabulous people who have made up the 1971 Rameur staff.
